C is for Cloud

The drive home from Vegas had some pretty awesome clouds. I played with my lighting on my camera and took some pretty cool shots. Here are a couple. They may have been cooler if I didn't have to take them while we were driving in the car. We were in a rush to get home due to prior engagements with friends. But still, I think they are beautiful!

Bubbles in the Park

Kaylee Edwards.
Kaylee with a flower from a tree.
Aiden Edwards.
Dalin Edwards.
Ashton Edwards, whom got her ears pierced later that night.
Lena, happy as a clam with her bubbles.
Jayden concentrating on his bubble.
Told you, happy as a clam.
The rest of Saturday while we were in Vegas, we spent with Nick's family. We started off at the park and played with bubbles, threw a frisbee around, and petted all the cute dogs. Then we were off to the Cupcakery and dinner at Red Robin. It was a fun day! Nick's neices and nephews keep you on your toes! They are always happy and looking for fun...my kind of people.

Pushing a Wood board in Vegas

Nate Cromwell
Kim Edwards
Yes, I still skate...a little.
Parker Cromwell. His version of skating.

Nick Edwards.
Hailey Cromwell.

Nick and I drove to Vegas this past weekend. We saw his family, and we saw my family. Saturday morning we woke up and went to the skate park. Nick and I had our skateboards, and Nate brought his rip stick, and Hailey and Parker brought their bikes. It was really fun to play with them, and try to take some pictures of Nick. (hard due to overcast, which made everything look the same colour-ish) Nate was REALLY good on his rip stick! I was super impressed!
I think it will be fun to skate with my kids one day! Well, that is if I can still skate :) I'm pretty sure Nick will, so it will be fun to see my kids skate with their dad.

Go Grizzzzzzzzlies!

Steve and Meg watching intently, eh.

Nick watching the zamboni, eh.
Steve gets these fun tickets from work and it was so nice of him and Meg to invite Nick and I to the Grizzlies hockey game, eh. They played Arizona and the Grizz beat AZ by a whole lot! Watching the game reminded me of playing P.E. gym hockey in Surrey. We had a great time that night, eh. :) (Even though my hot dog didn't sit too well...)

BYU Ducks

This little girl and her grandpa were at the pond feeding the ducks. It was such a special moment, I had to capture it.
These two little boyfriend/girlfriend ducks were such posers. They liked to pose in perfect unison.

Some vines I see when I walk to class.
The only beautiful thing about the testing centre. :)
So I am working on using my new camera more and trying to get a hang of all the buttons and settings. It has been really fun! This is a photo day about two weeks ago from things I saw while walking to class.

16 at heart..always will be

Behold, my 26 year old husband's favourite past time, now that surfing isn't an option here in Utah. He probably spends about 5-8 hours a week skating. Actually, that is where he is at this moment while I write this blog...I am not complaining- it's better than Zelda and I like him being active because he is a happier person :) And to be honest, I'm quite impressed he still has some skate skills. I wonder how often I will see him once the sun starts shining regularly...hmmm
