To Travel or Not to Travel, that is the question

So lately I have been thinking a lot. To travel, or not to travel. I really loved it at first and thought it was fun! I have collected a lot of cool magnets for our fridge and seen some cool cities I would not have if I didn't travel, BUT with that said, I am tired of early wake up calls, cold cities, airport staff and security checks, and most important being away from Nick. So I have decided to lists pros and cons with traveling.

Pro I get to have a cool magnet
Con My fridge is getting pretty covered

Pro I have Medallion status so I get first class treatment in every line
Con I still have to go through securty checks like everyone else

Pro I get to be in new and exciting cities
Con Sometimes all I ever see if the hotel because I'm only there for a day and too cheap to pay a taxi driver to show me around

Pro I get paid a lot more than just working in the office
Con I have to get all caught up when I'm back in the office

Pro I get to eat at fancy restaurants
Con I have to eat at fancy restaurants

...and the number one Pro is I am only 10k miles away from two free flights to Cancun, so Nick and I can have a little vacation! and Con, I am away from Nick for 6-8 days a month :( So at least there are some good things, but is it worth it?

soooshi nite

Nick with his roll that he raved about the whole night!
Dan and Anesha
The large mess afterwards! Good thing I have a wonderful husband who doesn't mind helping/doing dishes- Nick's friend Dan and "girl friend,"Anesha came over the other night for a delicious meal of sushi, edemmae, crab cream cheese wontons, and tempura shrimp. The meal was delicious, the company was great and it was a really fun night! We made crab rolls, shrimp rolls, and ahi rolls. We ate until 10:00 PM!!! But it was a really fun night!

I HAVE MY HUSBAND BACK!

I officially have my husband back! He finished and won Wii Zelda. phew! I wish I could explain just how proud I am of him and his Wii sword fighting skills. (sarcasim)
But my time with him may be short because he has to start training for his Outdoor Adventure Triathalon with Geoff. I guess that makes Leah and I standing at the finish line? I've never been to one, so I think it will be really fun! And maybe a better use of time :) still love you though Nick-

Our house...in the middle of the street

Our Apartment
Our blue cloud bedroom
Our desert tan bathroom
Our kitchen
The desk for school, bills, internet searching, etc...
Our family room
Our dining room. (I did the stripes myself)

I decided that maybe I should put up some pictures of Nick and my little basement apartment for those of you who haven't experienced grandeur :) Note: it is a little messy because it was a spur of the moment thought so I didn't tidy up for the blog.

B-Y-U days

So Nick and I officially started school again at BYU! This semester Nick is taking a large load of science classes (Microbiology, Chemistry, etc.), mingled with English. I was so proud of him last semester for getting such an awesome GPA and I know he will do great this year!
Also, I am taking a full load as well! I know, what a suprise. But I've come to a time in my life where I need a college degree to make me feel good :) So I have offically decided on a majour... drum roll please... Family and Home Living! I know, nothing super fancy and that people look at it as kind of lame, but that doesn't matter to me because I am loving EVERY class I have so far!! I have Aerobins, sewing, ASL, and SFL. I am very excited for this semester- and yes it will be hard work, but lots of fun and I will learn all sorts of new skills.
It's fun being on campus again and being able to see Nick during school. On Monday's and Wednesday's we drive together to and from school. I feel like a real college/married student! haha

Baby girl!

Thanks to all those who sent their love and support and baby spit up blankets ;)
