Out with the old...in with the dirty??

So long comfy family room with fresh paint, clean and new carpets and beautiful windows. So long house that we shared our first year of marriage in and it had a dining room, laundry room, stone walled showers, ice maker...I will miss you so.
our new master bedroom. That is my little nook on the left. I have plans for it!!!
our new kitchen
Our family room
The front of the house. I think it will be fun to set up home again, but it means buying some things we don't have. aka a kitchen table.. Besides that I think we can make it home. As long as our couch fits :)

Christmas cards..

In the midst of finals, Nick's birthday, packing for moving, the holidays, and life- I managed to put together a Christmas card! sponsered by the ease of Target (tape a picture on and go) Not a really good one this year, but at least I got one out! Here was a runner up (told you they were not good....just needed something)
p.s. you can't tell I'm wearing sweatpants..

It's begun...

Finals Week is starting and boy are we ready. I have taken one (of two for one class) so far and got 95%. Off to a good start. Nick's goal is to take every final before his birthday on the 17th! I hope he can do it cause I know how much he hates taking finals on his birthday. Wish us luck!

P.S. My hair is getting longer

AND I LOVE/MISS IT LONG :)

Victorian Housing

In my Interior Design class we just finished Victorian houses and the 8 plus different styles they come in. I love the character that each of these houses have! They hold history and I think that I why I am always more attracted to an older house than a new one. My dream house would be an old (like late 19th Century and earlier) and just gut it and re-do the whole inside. That would be my dream house.
Here are a couple that I thought are fun. This first one is a Victorian house in the Italian style and I LOVE it! It's in San Francisco so it's painted a bright colour but you can't tell from
the black and white picture. I like it better in black and white :)
